OUR STORY

We’re delighted to introduce the Cartown Kiwi Super Classic, a dynamic new high-octane showcase brimming with competition, entertainment and shopping. Kevin Hansen and his dedicated, seasoned team at Manawatu Equestrian have curated an event offering top prize money across all levels over three action-packed days from 19 to 21 December. Great care is being invested into the footing across the five outdoor arenas, comprising three grass and two sand surfaces.

The programme highlights the four ‘star’ classes — Super Stars, Stars in Your Eyes, Rising Star and Young Stars — each boasting impressive prize purses. The Grand Prix carries $6000, while the 1.3m Super Stars final offers $18,000, the 1.2m Stars in Your Eyes final $15,000, the Rising Star final $5000, and the 1.05m Young Stars final $1570. All ‘star’ finals will be staged as a two-round Grand Prix, ensuring thrilling sport for the up-and-coming horses.

Between the showjumping, the atmosphere will be electric with entertainment, including two nights of Professional Bull Riding and a strong contingent of riders making the trip across the Tasman. The full schedule will be released shortly on evoevents.co.nz. This is set to be the place to be — make sure you’re part of it.
